In September twenty-second, Alpina completely declassified the restyled XB7 crossover, which is a modified version of the updated BMW X7 . In terms of exterior design, the model largely repeats the Bavarian source. She put M-bumpers, and the front one attracts attention with characteristic "fangs" under the main blocks of darkened headlights.

Plus, the Alpina variant has a more pronounced front lip and sports edging on the lower air intake. The rear of the crossover is made in a similar style, and in the rear bumper there is a body-colored insert with four recesses for oval exhaust pipes. Another highlight of the new Alpiona XB7 is the 23-inch multi-spoke forged wheels. They come in the base and are shod with Pirelli tires measuring 285/35 and 325/30 front and rear, respectively. However, if desired, customers can also order smaller 21-inch rollers with 285/45 summer tires or all-season run-flat tires. The interior of the German crossover also has some differences from that of the updated X7. In particular, for its decoration, the German company used wooden accents from lacquered inserts.

It features Alpina's signature steering wheel, hand-wrapped in soft Lavalina leather with blue-green stitching. The car also received a different gearshift knob (in the form of a gem) and an iDrive system washer. The sills of the car have been illuminated, and on the center console you can see a plate with the name of the model. In the Alpina XB7 base, by default, it has a curved panel with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen of the iDrive8 multimedia system with an over-the-air software update function.

The same screens are put on the usual "X-seventh", however, on the modification from Alpin they have branded graphics, made in a blue-green palette. The 2023 Alpina XB7 is still powered by a standard 4.4-liter V8 with a pair of twin-stream turbochargers. There is also a mild-hybrid add-on in the form of a 48-volt starter-alternator built into the eight-speed automatic.

At the same time, during the restyling, German specialists improved the cooling of the power unit, modified the intake system, and also revised the software settings. It is reported that due to this, the output of the motor has increased to 639 hp. (+18). The torque remains the same - 800 Nm, but is now available in a wider range - from 1,800 to 5,600 rpm. The drive of the crossover is full (xDrive), with a reconfigured electronically controlled limited slip differential on the rear axle. Acceleration from zero to hundreds of the updated model is possible in 3.9 seconds (-0.3). A distance of a quarter mile (402 meters) can be overcome by a car in 12.4 seconds. It can be accelerated up to 290 km / h (without change), and such a maximum speed is declared for the variant on 21-inch wheels.

And for the updated Alpina XB7 off-road vehicle, the chassis was reconfigured, and the main bet was made on achieving the optimal ratio of dynamics and comfort. By default, the car has air suspension with special Alpina shock absorbers, which allow you to adjust the clearance in the range of 41 mm (depending on the speed and the selected driving mode). Plus, the crossover got more efficient brakes with blue four-piston Brembo calipers: front and rear discs with a diameter of 394 and 399 mm, respectively, were installed. Alpina has already opened the acceptance of orders for the restyled XB7: an all-terrain vehicle can be bought at a price of 159,000 euros (9.6 million rubles at the current exchange rate). In Europe, deliveries of machines to the first customers will begin in the fall of the twenty-second.
