Lada X-Ray - model overview

Lada X-Ray is made in the style of "SUV", built on the chassis of the French Renault Sandero. The exterior and interior of the new items are original. The originality of the model is emphasized not only by the intricate style, but also by such fashionable decor elements as daytime running lights. Which, by the way, do not go out completely when the main lighting is turned on, but only dim. The corporate “X” is easily read in the front part.

Unlike the Lada Vesta, the characteristic X-shaped stamping on the sidewall of the Lada Xray has curved edges. According to Xray design creator Steve Mattin, this emphasizes the "athleticism" of the wheel arches, giving the car a certain off-road charm.

Thanks to its 195cm ground clearance, the Xray handles moderate off-road terrain quite confidently. And the mentioned X-shaped stampings, as factory experts assure, protect the side windows from pollution in such conditions.

The interior of Lada Xray is laconic. The build quality and fit of the panels is decent. For some elements (this is, for example, a large central display), kinship with Renault cars is felt.

The seats look not only neat, but even elegant. In addition, they are quite comfortable. The frame of the armchairs is French, the rest is original.

The rear sofa is acceptable even for three passengers. The placement method implies a vertical landing. Confused by a small margin of legroom. And also the lack of an armrest.

The instrument panel is ascetic, which is not bad. Worse, it is almost unreadable until you turn on the dimensions or low beam. In this case, the dials are illuminated from the inside, significantly increasing readability.

The volume of the luggage compartment in the passenger version is 361 liters. With the rear seats folded down, it rises to 1207 hp. When the Xray gets a folding front passenger seat, the trunk volume will increase to 1514 liters.
